India Born New Zealand Player Ajaz Patel becomes only the third bowler to take all 10 wickets in an innings in International Test Cricket

Mumbai born New Zealand Cricketer Ajaz Patel became just the third International test cricketer after Australia's Jim Charles Laker and India's Anil Kumble to take all ten wickets in an innings in a Test match Cricket.



Ajaz completed this rare feat when he took the wicket of Mohammad Siraj caught by Rachin Ravindra at mid on . His bowling figures of  10/119 is now the third best after Jim Lakers 10/53 against Australia at Manchester on 26th July 1956 and Anil Kumble's 10/73 against Pakistan at Delhi on 4th Feb 1999.

Ajaz made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in October 2018. The following month, he made his Test debut for New Zealand, taking five wickets in the second innings. He emigrated with his family from Mumbai when he was eight years old, and was formerly a left-arm seam bowler later he switched into a left arm orthodox spinner in his late teens.
